The StFX undergraduate online application process is quick and easy to complete. Apply anytime - some programs do fill up faster than others, so earlier is better. Note: Separate applications are required for Education, Graduate Studies and Distance Nursing. Please see the links below for applications.

Please note:  International admissions will close on June 30, 2018*

Applications from international students received after June 30, 2018 will ONLY be considered for study beginning in September 2019.

*Note: applications after the deadline of June 30th from citizens of the following countries will be considered for September 2018, based on short study permit processing times:

Applying to Graduate Studies, StFX's Education Program

Graduate Studies and the Bachelor of Education program have a different application process. To access the application packages:

Applying to Residence

You can complete your registration for residence when you complete our online application process. You are guaranteed a room on campus if your residence application and deposits have been received by May 15th.


Additional tips:

  1. Your transcript must be official. Your school can mail it to us, or you can send us a copy as long as it is in a sealed envelope.

  2. Once we receive your application and transcript, an admission decision will be made within two weeks. We’ll send you a letter with your admission decision.  

  3. Find individual program requirements on the Admission Requirements page.

  4. Our scholarship deadline is March 1st. Students with an admissions average of 85% and over are automatically guaranteed an entrance scholarship worth at least $5,000.

  5. There is no separate application process for international or transfer students, but there are language requirements for applicants whose first language is not English.
