UCR Undergraduate Research Awards

Each year, the University Council for Research (UCR) provides funding for several undergraduate student research awards.  These awards will support up to 4 months (16 week) research projects carried out by undergraduate students at St. Francis Xavier University.   The minimum value of these awards is $4500 each and may be supplemented with additional funding from faculty supervisor research grants.  

There is no separate application for these research awards.  UCR Student Research Awards are made to the top unsuccessful candidates submitting applications for the Irving Research Mentorship Awards; NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards; NSHRF Scotia Scholar Awards etc.
