The Brian Mulroney Institute of Government Dahdaleh Practitioner-in-Residence Presents

The Honour to Serve Workshop Series

Whether you are thinking of a career in politics or working in an industry that relies on government funding, knowing the mechanics of political life is critical to your success. Join Sandy Silver, former Yukon premier and the Mulroney Institute’s inaugural Dahdaleh Practitioner-in-Residence, for a two-part workshop detailing the political process from grass roots community activism to a seat at the First Minister’s table. The workshops will explore the process from developing a constituency association, constructing a platform, and prepping for and running in an election, then turning a successful campaign into a government mandate.

Workshop #1 (January 26, 2026/3:30–5:30 pm): From the People to a Platform: Developing and Delivering a Political Campaign

Workshop #2 (February 9, 2026/3:30–5:30 pm): From Platform to Policy: Developing and Defending a Governance Mandate

Both workshops will be held in Mulroney Hall 4023. Light refreshments will be available.

Spaces are limited. Students will be prioritized. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to @email.
