About Enterprise Systems

Enterprise Systems are large and sophisticated IT systems that support the key business activities, information, technology, and data requirements of an entire organization. Enterprise Systems are comprised of state-of-the-art technologies used by large global companies, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence. Developing and sustaining enterprise systems not only require IT knowledge, but also an understanding of business, e-business, project management, and change management.

Why Study Enterprise Systems at StFX?

There is considerable demand for Enterprise Systems graduates from government agencies, traditional organizations, and especially leading IT consulting companies. Enterprise Systems professionals are technology-savvy business specialists whose primary function is to help organizations apply the latest technologies to solve business problems and/or take advantage of business opportunities. Enterprise Systems students will learn to deploy, configure, and implement sophisticated technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, ABAP, Oracle, used by large global organizations. Students will also learn how to manage large IT projects and apply the latest technologies to address problems and opportunities faced by real organizations.

First Year at a Glance

In your first and second year, you will take core courses shared among each of the Faculty of Business disciplines. This will allow you to build a strong foundation and explore what the various disciplines have to offer.
