Maintenance

Residents are responsible for cleaning their own rooms, and are expected to keep their rooms and common areas in such a manner to comply with University standards of health and safety. Common areas such as shared washrooms and lounges in traditional style residences are cleaned by staff. Common areas such as washrooms, kitchens, and lounges in suite and apartment style are the responsibility of the students.

Laundry

Laundry rooms are provided in each hall for your convenience. Each student living in residence is charged a flat fee for laundry. This fee is $150 and will give you unlimited access to the laundry machines in your building.   Be careful not to overload these machines, as that may cause damage that prevents other students from using them. Please treat these facilities with respect. The University is not responsible for any damaged, stolen, or lost items.

Storage

Each traditional and suite style residence has a room for storage during the academic year. These rooms are available for students to store large items such as suitcases, hockey equipment, trunks etc. to save space in rooms. The University is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Storage rooms are kept locked at all times. If you wish to gain access to one of these rooms, ask your Community Advisor. All storage rooms must be left vacant at the end of the academic year.  Any items left behind will be destroyed or donated to charity.

Each apartment in Power and Somers Halls has a storage unit on their floor for storage during the academic year. These rooms are provided to students to store large items to save space in your room. If you choose to use one of these rooms, know that the University is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

If you would like to store items over the summer months, please inquire at @email.
