Biography

PhD (University of Strathclyde), MBA (Dalhousie University), BSc (University of Prince Edward Island)

Dr. Bobbi Morrison is a Professor in the Department of Marketing and Enterprise Systems. She teaches courses in Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and Social Media Marketing, and has developed numerous teaching resources, including two textbooks, several Ivey Publishing teaching cases, and instructor support materials.

Dr. Morrison’s research examines consumer behaviour with an emphasis on trust and decision-making in socially relevant contexts. She often works collaboratively, linking marketing with health services, public policy, and applied projects. Her work has appeared in leading journals, including Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy, International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy, BMC Health Services Research, and the Canadian Pharmacists Journal. Her applied research engages partners in healthcare, non-profit, and business sectors, translating evidence into practice and policy recommendations. Recent projects include studies of consumer and health system responses during COVID-19, the adoption of artificial intelligence in healthcare and education, and economic patriotism through “Buy Canadian” campaigns.
