Biography

Dr. Hallaran completed a BScN and MScN from the University of Ottawa, and a PhD in Nursing at Queen’s University.

As a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of nursing experience. Dr. Hallaran’s professional experience has included direct practice in hospitals (tertiary centres to smaller community hospitals), nursing regulation, and leadership roles in acute care, academics, and home and community care. 

Dr. Hallaran joined the Elizabeth and Thomas Rankin School of Nursing in August 2024 as the Associate Dean.
