About Environmental Programs at StFX
Study of the environment is one of StFX’s core teaching and research strengths. At our small, primarily undergraduate university, students have the chance to work closely with faculty who are leaders and innovators in climate and environmental issues. Students interested in an environmental degree have the option to pursue a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Arts and Science.
There are four environmental programs at StFX that examine issues facing our planet from different perspectives: Aquatic Resources, Biology (Ecology concentration), Climate & Environment, and Earth & Environmental Sciences. Whatever path you choose, you'll receive a well-rounded education with hands-on learning and research opportunities.

Climate and environmental studies is a growing field that offers many job opportunities in Canada and internationally.
