• Course-based research options are available (see the Academic Calendar, e.g., Biol 499 Directed Study courses.
• Eligible students are encouraged to apply for undergraduate summer research awards.
• You can hold a research position during any summer of your degree (particularly after your 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th year), and some research groups offer opportunities during the academic year.
