Lost Residence Keys
Replacement keys/key cards are obtained through the Safety & Security Services Operations Centre (SOC) located in 5005 Chapel Square, 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
To report lost residence keys or key cards, students are to come to the Safety & Security Services Operations Centre (SOC) for temporary replacement and access.
Students will be requested to present Student Identification when requesting key replacement and access to residence.
- Reprinted ID: No charge for malfunctioning, damaged or worn cards if card is presented.
- Replacement ID: $20.00 charged to your student account.
- Temporary Access Card: Must be returned within 48 hours of issue. Failure to do so will result in a $25.00 charge to your student account.
- Temporary Key(s): Must be returned within 48 hours of issue. Failure to do so will result in a $25.00 charge (Room Key) and/or a $50.00 charge (Building Key) to your student account.
- Replacement Key(s): $25.00 (Room Key) and/or $50.00 (Building Key) will be charged to your student account.
- Replacement of Room Lock: If a lock change is requested by yourself (personal reasons) or requested by your roommate (safety and security reasons), $125.00 will be charged to your student account.
