Get ready to become a StFX student!

The countdown to move-in day is on! This is the start of an exciting new chapter in your life, and we want you to be ready for it! From course registration to packing information, here you will find the first steps to complete before you come to campus and resources to help prepare for your arrival.

Set up your StFX account

Your StFX account is your key for accessing important campus services, including course registration, campus WiFi, and printing services. It also serves as your main form of communication between faculty and staff during your time at StFX. Make sure to check your StFX email regularly to avoid missing important information!

Here are the steps to login to your StFX email for the first time:

  1. Visit microsoft365.com
  2. Login using your StFX username (the characters before "@stfx.ca" in your email, ex. x2025abc) and password (provided in your acceptance package).
  3. Set up your MFA/recovery information to ensure you can access your account
  4. Click the 'Outlook' tile
  5. Download Office 365 to your laptop/tablet/phone (including Outlook)

Upload a photo for your StFX ID Card

We can have your ID printed and ready for you when you arrive, making your check-in much simpler and quicker. You will receive a separate email with your unique link to upload a photo for your ID. Please check your STFX email for an email from Transact Online Photo Submissions.

When are you arriving?

First, we need to know when you are expecting to arrive on campus. We will have staff to greet you and help you get checked-in when you arrive if you let us know when to expect you. Please click this form to share your arrival date and time with us: January Arrival Information Form.
