Human Research Ethics

Information about conducting research with human subjects is available at the website of the StFX Research Ethics Board.

Please note that labs, class projects, and individual undergraduate research projects that involve human participants are reviewed by departmental ethics committees that, according to the Tri-Council Guidelines, must be Tri-Council compliant, and be under the general supervision of the University REB. Undergraduate Honours projects, after receiving departmental approval, are forwarded to the REB for further review.
