Macdonald Prize

Every year the Economics Department awards its top student with a monetary prize. The prize recognizes hard work and academic excellence in coursework and the Honours research project. 

Congratulations to Mallory Long, the winner of the 2022-2023 academic year. 

Summer Research Positions

Student research is an important part of the undergraduate experience in the Economics department at StFX. In addition to student research projects, faculty members hire honours students to work as Research Assistants during the summer months prior to their final year at StFX. Contracts vary depending on the available funding and the needs of the particular research projects. Interested students should speak with the Department Chair during the Fall term.
