This is a longitudinal survey of 8000 families since 1968. It now includes a Child Development Supplement Dataset (CDS). - Integrated Public Use Sample (IPUMS):
The main datasets available are decennial census data of the United States, IPUMS-USA. There is a new extension which includes census data of other nations, IPUMS-International. The dataset is maintained by the Minnesota Population Center at The University of Minnesota. - Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS):
